Matt Klink

Owner & President

Matt has more than 30 years of experience working on complex, controversial, and high-profile issues for public and private sector clients, as well as candidates for elected office and ballot measure campaigns. Klink has worked for corporate and political clients in more than 35 countries on six continents. He boasts 20-plus years’ experience working for oil, gas and energy clients in California and other western states.


Matt holds an M.A. in political management from The George Washington University's Graduate School of Political Management and a B.A. in History from the University of California at Berkeley. He is General Secretary and Board Member of the International Association of Political Consultants.

Frank Howard, Jr

Senior Strategist

Frank joins Klink Campaigns as a Senior Strategist after founding and managing Howard Consulting Group since 1995. He brings us a broad swath of global and domestic experience working in the health care and bioscience; communications; trade association; energy, water, and infrastructure; non- profits and non-governmental sectors, as well unique proficiency in the federal and state government contracting verticals. His portfolio will include public affairs, grassroots advocacy and coalitions, communications and media, ballot measures, and federal government affairs.


Frank holds a master’s degree from the University of San Francisco, a bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies from St. Mary’s College of California (SMC) and several certificates in investment strategies and public relations.
